Rules

General Rules

  1. The courts are available:
    1. Monday to Friday – 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
    2. Saturday and Sunday (including holidays) – 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  2. Please do not use the practice board before 8:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m.
  3. A 60-minute playing time for singles or doubles play is in effect, whenever members are waiting to play.
  4. Individuals who have a web based booked court time take priority over anyone who shows up to play without a web based booking. Example: when someone is using the court but did not have a web based booking must give up the court to players who have a paper copy or electronic (e-mail) proof of their court booking.
  5. Print off a copy of your booked court time (or be prepared to show e-mail confirmation) and bring it in case there is any confusion as to who has the court booked.
  6. You cannot book a court to use the practice board. If 2 or more players show up to use the courts you must forfeit the court to multiple players.
  7. A court/booking becomes available when members book a court online and fail to show up after 10 minutes of the scheduled time.
  8. At any time, courts cannot be booked back to back (consecutively). Minimum of 1 hour break between court booking times. If courts are not booked and available then play is allowed until someone with a booking shows up.
  9. Be considerate of your fellow members. Cancel bookings if your plans change.
  10. Please remember to turn off the lights when you are done.
  11. Failure to follow the stipulated rules may result in booking privileges being suspended.
  12. Bookings made that violate the stated rules will be deleted immediately.

Prime Time Booking Rules: (From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day of the week)

  1. You can only book a court time during Prime time hours within 24 hours of your desired time.
  2. Maximum of one court booking per membership during prime time hours. You cannot book both courts at the same time from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  3. You cannot book back to back court times even if your partner books it. (i.e. the same 2 players have a 60 minute maximum court time. If courts are not booked and available you can continue to play until someone with a booking shows up.
  4. For fairness to all Members, a maximum of three bookings per week during prime time hours will be allowed.

NON Prime Time Booking Rules: (From 7:00 a.m. to 4:59 p.m. every day of the week)

  1. You are able to book a court time during NON-prime time hours within 3 days of your desired time
  2. You cannot book back to back court times even if your partner books it. (i.e. the same 2 players have a 60 minute maximum court time. If courts are not booked and available you can continue to play until someone with a booking shows up.

Court Rules

  1. A Shirt or blouse is a requirement while on the tennis courts.
  2. Misconduct such as being loud, shouting, using  profanity, throwing of tennis racquets, smashing balls into the fence or any other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  3. Balls hit into home owner gardens are not retrievable.
  4. Pets are not allowed inside the enclosed Club area.
  5. Please maintain the grounds in a tidy, garbage-free condition.
  6. It is a nice gesture for a spectator to retrieve balls hit outside the courts.
  7. Remember; be courteous, friendly and thoughtful of your opponent at all times.
  8. Lose gracefully… and win gracefully too!
  9. Thank your opponents at the end of your match.
